Happy Chap Goh Mei
Feb 9th, 2009 by Alvin Chong
They say, this is the Chinese Valentine’s Day. So single girls go out and throw oranges into the river hoping that someone special will pick up their oranges and start hooking up with them. Is that how it works though? I myself am not too sure as I am only assuming it works that way.
Anyway, I am not doing any of those tonight and instead I have some work to complete. Being away in Labuan doesn’t help much either. Oh well, although I am not celebrating it, I wish you all out there a Happy Chap Goh Mei. Enjoy it, this is the last day of the Chinese New Year celebration and enjoy all you can. Gamble and light up the fireworks all you want because after today, you have to wait another year!

Hope you had a good one! Lots of firecrackers and fireworks here! My head really pening from the noise!!! Pollution! Global warming plus-plus! And when they experience extreme weather conditions - rain and flood - they blame everybody but themselves!!! …Or maybe they’re all illiterate or uneducated!!!!
Thank you very much. Oh well, being in Labuan, I can’t possibly have a good one. Anyway… haahahhaha..
