Sarawak Laksa in KL?
Aug 21st, 2007 by Alvin Chong
So, I have said before that I crave Sarawak Laksa. When I first came to KL, I had no idea where to find authentic Sarawak Laksa. All the so called Sarawak Laksa I have tasted in KL were no where near the real thing. Well, at least not until I came about this stall in Lucky Garden, Bangsar selling authentic Sarawak Laksa.
This is almost as near as you can get to authentic Sarawak Laksa. Prawns are fresh, tastes good, and serving is generous. That is how I would sum it up. If you are a Sarawak Laksa fan, this is a must try. Although I have tasted better laksa, I am not complaining in an area where Sarawak Laksa is uncommon.
So hungry was I that I got myself a second bowl of generous serving laksa. After that, I was full like nobody’s business, but it was gratifying.
I have tried another version of the Sarawak Laksa at Rasta Stalls, TTDI as recommended by one of my readers in my previous laksa post. That would be another story in another post.
While I was enjoying my laksa, I also noticed that this place sells the world’s heaviest noodle. Now, you shall all behold the world’s heaviest noodle!
One Ton Mee!!! I’ll try that another day. ![]()

hi alvin, can i know this laksa stall is exact location?
hoyoyi: Sure you can. Let me see how should I put this. I don’t really know how to describe but if you know where Bangsar Village shopping mall is, there is a mosque there. On the main road leading to Bangsar LRT station, turn right at the traffic light and then take the first left after that. Go straight and you will come to a roundabout. Assuming you are on the 6 oclock of the roundabout, the shop is facing the road on the 3 oclock of the roundabout.
