Woooorrr… Credit Card…

I don’t know about you guys but I take it as a joke. Probably it’s just me but seriously, what would they gain out of this, other than me borrowing money from them? Oh, I get it now. See, that’s where they earn. It’s when I loan money from them that they earn my interest. Then again, this is a pretty good gimmick. See, if I was more naive and know nothing about how these things go, I would have been pretty much interested in this advertisement:

In case the picture isn’t clear enough, it reads:
3x reward points, 5% rebate on Celcom Minutes Plan & 5% rebate on total bill with Citibank Celcom Card. No income documents needed. SMS new to 36700.
See, what most people don’t realise is that, they don’t need your income documents BUT they need your existing credit card. I might be wrong here and if I am, Citibank is free to call me up anytime and explain to me how this works. If my income documents and existing credit cards are not needed, feel free to bring it on. ![]()
Being the skeptical person that I am, I just don’t buy the fact that they don’t need any proof of income. It’s just like some Ah Long telling me:
“Brother, come and loan some money for your business la. No need to see your income wan. You need how much, I can just bollow you wan. No worry, you can pay in instalment up to 6 months.[In his heart]*Hehe, no worries, if you don’t pay, I’ll hunt your @$$ down and take anything I can get off you. If that’s not enough, I will even go find your family and friends to settle your debt. Bo tai ji, just borrow.*”
The way I see it, this is a complete joke unless you can prove me otherwise. Who knows, if I am convinced, I might even take up the offer, after all, I am a Celcom user and this is pretty good.
So right now, it’s HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…
