This is old but I was just browsing through my photos and I cannot resist posting them up to share. I mean, we have to share good things right? It would be too selfish of me to not share. Anyway, quite a while back, while I were still working in KL, a friend of mine brought Clare and I to a condominium restaurant somewhere in Selayang for dinner.

To tell you the truth, I was kinda skeptical at first. After tasting the food, I have to say, I’d highly recommend them to people. Anyway, it has been so long back that I kinda forgot the name of the dishes. If anything, just enjoy the photos and don’t even bother asking me the name of the dishes. LOL.

First we had a steamed fish. Those who know fishes inside out will know what fish this is. Don’t ask me though, because I know nuts. All I know is how to eat. LOL.

This is another angle of the fish. I just cannot resist showing you this. Splendid front angle. :D

Then, we had squid. Was it curry? Hmmm…

Then we had this mixed vegetable with pork. A simple but delicious dish!

We also had this signature mixed tofu dish. What can I say? Splendid!

OK, this is not exactly the best picture but it’s the clearest I have with me. I forgot what chicken dish this is already. Pardon me, but it tastes good!

All in all, I’d rate the restaurant 4/5 stars for the food. For the price, there is nothing to complain about. In fact, I’d recommend that you have family dinners there, if you have the chance.

There goes my dream of owning some big ass engine capacity luxury car. Effective tomorrow, the price of RON97 petrol will increase to RM 2.70. The RON92 will increase to RM 2.62. Diesel will be raised to RM 2.58.

Now, I understand that the world crude oil price has been increasing and hence the increase in petrol price. The government has a point in that they can no longer subsidize as much as they’d like to. I’ll accept that, but what doesn’t make sense is the fact that they can still send some space tourist to space for a whalloping amount of money. That to me is unacceptable.

As much as I’d like to be proud of my nation for being able to send someone to space, I’d rather see the money go into subsidizing my daily life necessities. After all, our income here is not sufficient per se. Sending someone to space is an extra luxury which a country can only afford to do if it has nothing better to do with the money anymore.

Yes, I also agree that our petrol is still one of the cheapest compared to other countries but also bear in mind that with the exception of a few other countries, our country is also one that has a lower income range. Oh boy, I am having a hard time to even maintain a 1.5L car, what more to say a 4.0L dream car? SIGH…
